In the educational process of the Kazakh-Russian Medical University, distance learning technologies (DOT) are used for students of higher education and persons with disabilities, as well as for students who have left the country for exchange programs, scientific internships or academic mobility.
Students in the course of distance learning courses will master the theoretical and practical knowledge needed in future practice.
Today’s technology allows us to design and create information tools that can alleviate these difficulties in the preparation of any discipline.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR DOT TRAINING:
– availability of regular access to a computer/laptop/tablet device/phone;
– availability of computer multimedia equipment: webcam, headphones and/or headset;
– internet access (with a speed of more than 512 kbit/s);
– the skill of working with e-mail and office software packages for creating and editing electronic documents.
The training takes place remotely in the learning management system https://moodle.krmu.edu.kz /. The duration of academic periods is realized according to the academic calendar. After the end of the semester, during the interim certification period according to the academic calendar, students are required to pass all final controls with personal presence at the exam according to the Academic Policy of the university.
During the period of theoretical training, the student studies disciplines through the MOODLE electronic distance learning system, where he is provided with all educational materials (lecture notes, video lectures, presentations), assignments (tests, written assignments, collective discussions) and the possibility of online (chat, audio-video conferences) and offline (correspondence, discussion forum) consultations with teachers.
